    *need help* out of fuel!!!

A very understandable, but common misconception. Two misconceptions here, both seemingly common. One is that Moderators can "expel" people. They cannot. Only Administrators can do that. Moderators can certainly recommend, though. The other misconception is someone would get banned (or expelled...

    A New World Order

On a run? What's that? Oh, yeah, I remember. That's picking up and delivering freight. Yeah, no, I hardly do that anymore. I've had four loads so far this month, of 53, 795, 248 and 377 miles.

Cargo vans/Sprinters not welcome at Flying J in Houston

My one and only encounter with a real, live lot lizard was at that particular Flying J in Houston. I had just pulled in, like 3 in the afternoon, and she came right up. Maybe my fault for parking over there where the car lot kinda meets up with the truck lot, I dunno. She said she thought I was...

A thread that contains your real name and address in the context of someone wanting to do you or your family harm, would certainly qualify.

    S.D wide base tire law

Michigan certainly allows for more weight. The weight allowed for Appalachian coal trucks is silly, but the weight they need to actually be before the cops stop looking the other way is obscene. You don't want to be in front of a coal truck on a downhill run in Kentucky. You really don't.

Pleading ignorance will not help. There are plenty of examples of the definition of internet trolling to be found through a Google search, as well as in the EO Code of Conduct itself. I'm just giving you a little headsup warning. Do with it whatever you like.

Cargo vans/Sprinters not welcome at Flying J in Houston

The Loves policy is to thwart the "Park & Ride" people. They just don't want people leaving their cars there for hours or days at a time, but if you're in it they don't much care. They understand what expediters do. I park at Loves fairly often and have never been asked to leave. I park at the...

Cargo vans/Sprinters not welcome at Flying J in Houston

There are often signs that say parking is for customers only, and if you buy something there then you're a customer. Might not be on the back of the receipt, tho. I can count on one hand how many times I've been asked to leave a parking lot. I've never, ever been back to any of them for any reason.

One gallon would have done it. Bismark, AR is about 10 miles off I-30 at the Caddo Valley exit (78), where there are at least 4 gas stations that are 24/7.

    Home security system?

If you're computer savvy, just set up a bunch of Webcams and connect them to the net. If not, and you also want things like text or video alerts for motion detected or lights being turned off, the WiLife system works very well. I think it's by Logitech.

    Respect for the dead?

If it gets moved to the Soapbox, then some yahoo will complain that it's in the wrong forum because the first half of the thread doesn't belong in the Soapbox.
