I think most city bus services are subsidized. They should be forced to stand on their own two feet. So should AmTrack. There is no excuse for running a losing project.

We don't need anymore money losing trains. I think I read that of the 44 Amtrack routes 41 lose money. Scrap all of them that lose. We should not be subsidizing anything like that, including city bus services. They should be able to function on their fares.

OK, Turtle, I get where you are coming from. I too believe in that "Big Dog" thing. That is what I think we are missing with Obama in charge. He comes across as weak and is doing all he can to weaken the military and intell services. At least from my point of view. Weakness does not inspire fear...
