    Verifing Income

Did you set your company up as a corporation and loan your company the start up money? If you pay yourself, you can use your paystubs from your own company as proof of income. Sometimes you are better to pay yourself a fair but good salary and do not mention that you "own" the company that...

Someone will see this as a chance to increase rates and capture market share of Yemeni freight! LOL

We use PC Miler Practical Miles when we talk about rates and miles at Load One. Which I believe is center of the zip to the center of the zip. Most systems all have an interface with one of the major providers like PC Miler or Rand. I do not know if any of them that do a door to door mileage...

Yes we have solo tractor trailers. Most of our tractor fleet is solos. They run primarily regional, about a 500 mile radius of Detroit. They pull general commodity and expedite freight. As far as chef, well to be honest when a man walks thru the door with a fifteen pound cheesecake, I am not...

    Landstar for Solos

I think BCO's are the Landstar name for agents? If so, I am good freinds with Mark Mclochlin. Mark owns Clearwater Logistics in Indiana and is an agent for Landstar. We do a good bit of business back and forth and he is a great guy. Mark is also the current president of TEANA. 574 252 0440.

Same is true on our tractor trailers as the straight trucks. This is obviolusly a very well kept vehicle by looking at the pictures. Assuming it was mechanically sound it would not only pass, but it would be pretty cool. As for weight, I have to guess but I am thinking avg of around 35k.

First of all thank you for the compliments. I am extremely lucky to have put together a really great team of people. I agree 30 pages is a bit much to read if you are looking for just an answer to one question. A pm would have been faster, but I am on here regularly anyway so I am happy to...

IF you are asking about the truck itself..... We prefer the unit to 7 years or newer. But we do not stick to this as a rock solid policy. The unit needs to pass an inspection in our shop, as well the unit must be good physical appearance. I have seen 4 year old junk, and 8 year old trucks...

Shadow you earned it buddy! Greg, To respond to your comments in the ASE thread, I will respond here. I don't like commenting in great detail when it is a thread involving another carrier. As well it is no secret that I will not use this forum to directly recruit. I am fine with...
