    GOP has Ron Paul problems

Just ran across this poll from IBOPE/Zogby showing Dr. Ron Paul as the more preferable candidate in a 3rd Party run than Ralph Nader or NY Mayor Bloomberg. The poll found 16% saying they would be likely to vote for Paul compared to 9% for Bloomberg and 7% for Nader. The results are...

Rick santorum - where he stands

And some people call Dr. Ron Paul "crazy" or "loony" .... Given who Santorum runs with (the Pro-Lifers for Death™), it's not entirely surprising he has a particularly itchy trigger finger, and seems all too willing to push the button. There may be no 72 virgins on the menu here, but...

Rick santorum - where he stands

I'd prefer to look at Mr. Santorum a little closer :D Huh ? I'd say it's quite highly agenda driven ;) Wonder if there will be any evidence of a Santorum "Iowa Bounce" when they re-poll this one - so far there doesn't seem to be much "Santorum Surge" showing up...

    Michele Bachmann halts presidential campaign

Makes me think of Homer Simpson in a donut or beer-induced bliss .....

Just when you think you heard it all

Easy solution: kill the whole thing. We don't need to be spending $355 million dollars of our own money to create and equip an Afghani Air Force ..... Seems to me last time we did that (create a foreign military force) - with a fellow named Bin Laden - it sorta came back to haunt us.

Does Ron Paul See Himself in the Oval Office?

As always, the correct one. Not necessarily true, since one would have to assume a lot for that to be true.

Rick santorum - where he stands

I am .. and they are .... balance .... Considering who we're talking about, that's a distinct possibility ;)

The trouble with my uncle, Rick Santorum

Well, some of them anyways ..... ;)

The trouble with my uncle, Rick Santorum

No what it really tells us is what level of arrogance is required to dismiss, out of hand, a fairly large segment of the electorate. You know - the ones that will have to live with our decisions long after we are gone. Sounds like just the kind of viewpoint that we need for "building the GOP"...

    Iowa Caucus

Isn't that how the nominating process more or less works already ? (they "drop out" by not being nominated) Ahhh .... by the way ..... who's "we" exactly ? Explain to me how that would work ...... just like I was a child ..... How does all this line up with the Constitution ?

Rick santorum - where he stands

Where he stands ? .... somewhere to the right (or left ? ... or both ?) of Il Duce ? People who talk about others living in prior centuries would do well, to thoroughly examine Senator Santorum's public record and statements. To that extent, the following website may be of use (as opposed to...

Does Ron Paul See Himself in the Oval Office?

Then you should crack open a dictionary, look up the word, and clear up any misunderstandings you have about what it actually means

The trouble with my uncle, Rick Santorum

Yup - he's actually still alive ..... and hasn't yet joined the ranks of the living dead

    Iowa Caucus

It's smart move for her (live to fight another day) - another smart move would been to have cut her withdrawal speech short by 2/3rds.

Does Ron Paul See Himself in the Oval Office?

Different take: it's exactly this kinda of thing that shows how he doesn't lust for the power of the office ..... when every other one of them do .... (a fact that I find personally revolting to point that it makes me want to vomit) That in my, and many others' books makes him thoroughly...

Two Time CREW "Most Corrupt In Congress" Award Winner

MSNBC is about to have Santorum's nephew on in a bit ..... he's supporting Dr. Paul ... The Santorum family Christmas this coming year may be a bit awkward me thinks ... mebbe they'll do immediate only, as opposed to extended. Dr. Paul apparently called Newt a "chickenhawk" this morning (on...

Two Time CREW "Most Corrupt In Congress" Award Winner

Yup - not at all. But being dirty ain't the only baggage he's got. Oh they (the establishment and media) all know his baggage - they just trot it at the point where it suits them - all part of the big dog and pony show. Him prevailing there would not be a real big surprise. He will be...

Two Time CREW "Most Corrupt In Congress" Award Winner

Just curious - did you even bother to look at any of the linked documentation on Santorum before you wrote any of this ? Describe how they have a "liberal bent" (other than who they might have received funding from) in terms of their actions .... preferably using something resembling actual...

Two Time CREW "Most Corrupt In Congress" Award Winner

When, in 2005, CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) announced their first ever "Most Corrupt In Congress" report, Senator Rick Santorum managed to garner the coveted corruption honor for two matters. In 2006 CREW released their second edition of "Most Corrupt In...

    Free speech??

That would be an alleged assault. For those wishing a perhaps more balanced view, rather than new from the agenda-driven "Blaze" (from Glenn Beck ), I would suggest Salon's coverage (which is from AP wires) of the matter (note the far less incendiary and non-editorializing headline)...
