Obama to appoint Cordray to head CFPB

Well, Layout ..... First off, please understand that this is not intended as a personal attack - just a very blunt statement of my perspective. But here's the reality of it for me: I have read several of Michael Scheurer's books, and much of his other public writings. I find informed...

Obama to appoint Cordray to head CFPB

Really ? That's funny ... because it seems to me that he has managed to change the entire nature of the national conversation in the context of both what the GOP, and we as a country, ought to be about. You see what Obama did on defense yesterday ? Do you have any idea whatsoever why that...

Obama to appoint Cordray to head CFPB

Well, unlike some (and particular some here) Dr. Paul is motivated, not by abject, blind hatred of a particular individual, which seems to cause some to seize on any and every opportunity (even those which are fallacious and silly) to bash a particular individual, but his regard for the...

Obama to appoint Cordray to head CFPB

I do believe that participation is optional. Can't speak for anyone else, but this is not particularly an issue I'm currently focused on - it's a matter of relative importances ... other fish to fry. Looks like other folks have begun to speak to it though.

Is this it for Ron Paul?

Heheheh ... ya I thought you find that humorous :D I'm tracking contributions to the campaign daily ... although only roughly - not precisely, down to the penny. It appears that since the Iowa Caucus, contributions have increased (there was little slowdown after the last moneybomb) and are now...

Is this it for Ron Paul?

Dave, I already addressed this in another post - often the way the media tries to spin things are quite different than the reality of the matter. Despite Terry Moron's best efforts to make this into something it is not, it's really going anywhere. One word: humility

Two Time CREW "Most Corrupt In Congress" Award Winner

Huh ? Have we now moved beyond just the use of logical fallacy for partisan agenda into wholesale misdirection ? The Senate was held by a Republican majority starting in January 2003 in the 108th Congress, and running to January 2007, when the 110th Congress convened, and the Democrats took...

The trouble with my uncle, Rick Santorum

Of course, there is truth and wisdom in the above ..... but it isn't the totality of truth and wisdom either. When that was written, one became "a man" (or "a woman") at the tender age of about 12 or 13 ..... Despite the eternal truth contained in the above proverb, we know that some folks...

The trouble with my uncle, Rick Santorum

Another way to say it might be: Given the times, and easy access to information, children and young adults today, for better or worse, are far more worldly at a younger age than they were 20 or 30 years ago .........

Yes, I have ...... was one of the major polling companies (Gallup or Nielsen I think) ..... was not on presidential candidates, but it was a political poll (on economics) It was a long poll (15 to 30 minutes to complete) Wow .... Well, I'm sure you won't mind us having a little fun with you...

Good to see that investigative journalism is still being practiced in these here United States, and in the heartland. Ben Swann may well have a future in investigative journalism - I suspect that we'd all be better off for it. It will be interesting to see if he does a follow up on this, if...

Rick santorum - where he stands

Looks like Santorum got his bounce in the Zogby poll - up about 8 points over last week. The good news is Dr. Paul is polling at 24% ..... and John Z sez that both still have room to grow (10% undecided) Santorum gets big bounce in N.H.
