    Cat C9 injectors

If you have a 07, then you might be ok. Have to watch that if the truck is a 07, you could still have a engine that was manufactured in 06. As for filters, we have used the Cat or sometimes a Baldwin since we do changes at Speedco. Never really had any fuel filter problems. Had some injector...

    Cat C9 injectors

No real answer then. They did have a service bulletin on 06's where wear from the huey pump bearings was trashing the injectors. They do have a upgraded pump. We had ours changed out around 350K under warranty.

Do you still have the original Huey pump or has it been changed?

    How Do You Pay/Get Paid?

Nothing really huge, but we tried it a few times back in the early days. Two unrelated drivers equals two separate agendas. Spent more time being a relationship counselor than doing anything else. Kinda the same thing with hiring someone who has under-aged kids living at home. Tried it once...

    All state express

That s the right answer. Charge accordingly or haul for someone who pays more timely. In this case some might have got caught in the pipeline when they changed their practices from 30 days to beyond. I can't speak to whether they are holding onto loads for five to six months but "IF" they are...

    How Do You Pay/Get Paid?

I would agree with Leo on teams. We only hire experienced teams that are married, or living as married. Any other situations are more aggravation than they are worth. Cheaper to leave the truck parked. As far as pay, we are similar to Leo doing the 60/40, 100 percent on the FSC, EM's, and hand...

Hold on there Padre. You have me totally confused. You first say there are "irresponsible blabbering of slow paying loads" then proceed to tell us you went from a 30 day pay to 90 day pay. I would consider that SLOW PAY. I believe the factoring companies they are talking about are ones they...

    All state express

I would agree with Pjjjj if this was a large company. In this case, ASE isn't anywhere close to a sizable company. D & B shows them with 22 employees and 9M in revenue. That is their reporting numbers but not always accurate to date. Even if you doubled both, still small enough that the...

im just angry all the time.

I think Termite you answered your own question. You are operating in a team oriented business so either get the wife driving, get a co-driver, book your own freight, or you may have to move to a different gig. Several on here have had to take on co-drivers to make it more profitable. Just a...

Sneaking a lesbian onto the Supreme Court

I know there is not a constitutional requirement, but it is a personal one that I would have. But then again, I am not picking the person.

Sneaking a lesbian onto the Supreme Court

While new cases would be different, previous rulings if they were a judge prior to being nominated, would be a precursor to how they would potentially vote in the future. If this nominee had no prior rulings then I think she is a bad choice on that premise alone rather than their personal...

Sneaking a lesbian onto the Supreme Court

As with any potential nominee, I would be more interested in their previous rulings rather than what orientations they do or don't have.

I hadn't heard about this real estate tax. Anybody got a link or what news channel this was on? I seen this. Still bad, but not as bad as I thought. http://www.spokesman.com/letters/2010/apr/01/response-paul-guppy-regarding-impact-health-care-b/

Wonder has this ever happen to you

I was basing that on just what was posted here what other Fed drivers say and how it worked. No first hand experience using it but I see why they do it.

    Are you being macromanaged?

I don't think they had a choice if I recall. The carrier paid for it and deducted it from their settlement.

Wonder has this ever happen to you

Panther occasionally sends out reduced rate loads to see if there is any takers. If not then they pay the rate or dump it on their broker board. The Fed sends every load out and awards it to the cheapest taker if other criteria for the load are equal. Not sure what they do on vans since they...

    Are you being macromanaged?

I am glad you said "almost 100 percent of the time". I know a fleet owner who had a driver who sent something similar and the carrier in turn sent a tow truck. Didn't actually tow the truck but billed the fleet owner 300 for the tow truck to go out to the location.
