I think I would be more likely to pay a bit more for clean, more hospitality and better food. The quality of the food in most TA's, Petros etc is just plain bad. They focus on fat, salt and bulk, quality is not a priority at most of them. Neither is keeping the places clean. You get what you pay...

We have used our reefer and APU when we lost our alternator. We ran the APU till the belt broke on it then we fired up the reefer. Our apu is set up to charge the batteries when running. It also comes on by itself when the batteries are low. It charges all 6 of my batteries.
