Canada Thinking about putting a sleeper on a f550

Depending on the size box it may have on it, why not just build a sleeper with cab access in it and expedite with it? I would think you may have a better chance at freight thana sprinter or a cargo van. But, as I have learned the hard way, freight is slow for vans right now, at least where I am...

    Miles a week?

So let me ask a few questions that have stemmed from the previous posts.Does PTL hire only straight trucks at this time? The problem I have with some companies is that they claim to be a 100% o/o fleet, but come to find out, some of their fleet owners are actually people that work in the office...

    Parking on the ramps

If I remember correctly, Landstar has a policy against their BCO's parking on any ramp, exit or entrance. They call it their "sitting duck policy" and is properly named.I tried to sleep on a ramp a few times, and couldnt sleep too well, with traffic whizzing by, and the fact that ramps are rarely...

    Miles a week?

What good is the "revenue per week" thinking if a driver has a ton of miles accumulated for minimal pay? Eventually he will go bankrupt, because his cost per mile will be higher than his pay per mile, because he is deadheading everywhere chasing loads to get that "revenue per week".

    Driver vs Owner

Teamcaffee, while I was at the Expo admiring your truck, it appeared to me you already had all the bells and whistles. If a new product/improvement comes out in the market, why not just add it to your already heavily-equipped truck, instead of purchasing a new one? Youre truck still looks like new.

    AC condeser coils

Also, has anyone ever cleaned their cooling tubes on the condenser as well as the radiator, and anythiing else that cools on the front of a truck/van? Most hardware stores sell a/c condenser cleaner that you spray on the cooling components and hose off. use a garden hose, not a pressure washer...

Has anyone tried using detroit radiator as a supplier for a/c condensers? They claim to be better made than original. I bought a radiator for my sterling, with a metal one, replacing the original plastic one. a very nice radiator.
