    barrys Favorite Union at Work...

How about putting the blame for such an outrageous rule where it belongs: the legislators who made it law? The unions can donate to campaigns, but it's the legislators who write the laws.....

Henry is always tough to beat, [he's dam near perfect, lol] but if anyone can, it'd be Linder. :D

New NJ Ice law goes in effect.

When I drove t/t, I triggered the overheight alarm while entering the Ohio turnpike - the attendant told me to drive through, u turn, drive through the other side, [knocking snow off with each pass] u turn again, and come through a second time. It worked, but it's hardly a reasonable solution...

Easy cure for boredom: find something and paint it! I added some sparkle to my Load1 sweatshirt and the grille. If I don't get a load tomorrow, I may add some' sparkle' to the Load 1 logo on the door......:D

I'm sorry, my appologies Officer, but I.....

I know they do [appreciate the walking trails & fitness rooms, though not the glass walls!] but I can't help but think in this case, they noticed the one table in the restaurant with an outlet would be occupied for hours.....[I used to do it, too, lol] Because we are all becoming outlet junkies...

    OOIDA Says...

I can tell you [from past experience, not current]: a dispatcher calls a driver on the phone, or sends a load offer via QC [we're talking the LTL carriers, not expedited], because the driver has 3 hours remaining to drive, and dispatch wants a load picked up. Driver says they're tucked in for...

    System change

Whatever can be taken off the 'todo' list for dispatch is great, cause it leaves them more time to do what only they can do, and we appreciate that - thanks, John. :)

Are Paper Log Books Coming Back?

I thought OOIDA's take [the rule was tossed, therefore, EOBRs are not legal] was barkin hilarious, and I hope they keep being the David that pesters Goliath, and I'm happy to help them do it, too. Gotta wonder how many of the people advocating EOBRs for everyone are the same people who insist we...

Is it too late to make him a quilt in a lizard pattern? :D PS did you ever try those bags that suck the air out [ok, I think the vacuum does that part, but you know what I mean] to save space on shipping? I always wondered if they work....
