    March @ team Load One

We're gradually (well, not so gradually) becoming Pantherized. We'll need clear rules by which to play the game. If the load is more than 40% DH of loaded miles, or picks up more than 8 hours in advance, or is less than 200 miles, or any number of other factors, we shouldn't be hit with a...

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

I'm pretty sure "dually" isn't mentioned in the definitions of Commercial Motor Vehicle. ;)

Tell that to the scores of fake-labeled cube vans who illegally and routinely run without logs.

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

If your GVWR is, say, 9999 pounds, and you are 300 pounds overweight, they're ya go. Also, a lot of these cube vans are rated at 12,500 pounds, give it take, and the owner slaps 10,000 GVWR on the side doors in order to avoid logging. But they continue to run over 10,000 pounds all the time...

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

You do if the vehicle ever weighs more than 10,000 pounds. The rules are for the GVWR or the actual weight.

When hecklers drown out or silence a speaker, it's known as a "heckler's veto," a term coined ironically by a professor at the University of Chicago. In a strict legal sense (and in fact), the Heckler's Veto is when the government suppresses the speaker because of the possibility of a violent...

Are the all paid? Of course not. Are some of them paid? Absolutely. Both political parties do it. Most often, the organizers of the protests are paid to organize them. They are paid by Super PACs and other donors. We've seen Trump protesters arrive in chartered buses they did not pay for, and...

I can't recall any of his responses to legal protests. His responses to illegal protests are quite logical and reasonable. Interesting, because in the case of the Boston Tea Party, the disruptions were caused by people protesting the British government for violating the rights of the people. So...

March 2016, where are you going ??

When Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a sledgehammer it's "art" and "music." When I do it they kick me out of Home Depot.

    Get into the game

Well, it doesn't say "dry van" it just says "van". But yes, WeGoneMakeIt, "van" means a "dry van trailer." The load boards are primarily for tractor-trailers and other big trucks. The "dry van" is by far the most common type of freight trailer hauled by trucking companies. On those loads boards...

What's so funny about the protesters at Trump rallies is, liberals are so clueless that they actually think the protesters are exercising their free speech rights. They're not. They're illegally infringing on the free speech of others. When PETA protests a KFC they don't go inside and protest...

Looking Both Ways The Evolution and Cyclical Nature of Expediting

The Toyota plant in San Antonio is mostly that way, with more on-site suppliers to come. The Kia plant in Alabama is mostly like that.

    Sprinter battery bank

You'll connect both front and rear left speakers (left dash and left 6x9) to one of the front channels (typically channel 1, or A), and both rights to the other front channel (right dash and right 6x9). That will create a 2 ohm stereo operation. With your amp specs being: 4 ohms: 120 watts x...

    Sprinter battery bank

The RMS output on that amp is 4 ohms: 120 watts x 4 chan. 2 ohms: 160 watts x 4 chan. Bridged, 4 ohms: 320 watts x 2 chan. So not bridged will be the first one, for a total 480 Watts instead of 640 Watts. If the speakers are 2 Ohms, then it's the second one, 160 per, totaling 640 Watts. The...

    Sprinter battery bank

Depends on how you hook it up. 2 Ohms or 4 Ohms. Bridged at 4 Ohms it's 320 Watts x 2, so 640 Watts RMS. The 1400 Watts thing is the PMPO - "peak music power output" and is more or less meaningless. An amp can't maintain this for much more than a split second and then only under lab conditions...

No biggie. But it's interesting in how that happened. What was throwing me was the fact that I could see it, but no one else could, including other Admins and Mods. Now we know what happens when someone posts a link to something uploaded to the /forums/attachments/ folder on the server. :)

    Heating / Cooling Portable A/C

I haven't. I know they can be installed in RV rooftop and home units, but I'm not sure about portable units. I recall reading Q&A and reviews of one particular hard start capacitor on Amazon where one person said they used it on their portable unit and another person saying it can't be used on...
