Cutaway cargo van vs standard cargo van

Yea, I learned that the hard way, my fault. Never gave it a thought while setting up my current van. Got done, only to find out it weighs 7,500 full of fuel, everything in it, including me.This leaves me with 1,900 # load hauling capacity. But it hasnt seemed to hurt me in ways of getting...

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

To set the record straight, I wasnt or am not whining or crying about the fsc, but was just wondering and curious. I am extremely happy with All-State, and getting out of debt alot faster here than originally projected.I have no plans on leaving here. They have not given me a reason to want to.

FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

Why did I insert "Youre missing the whole point here, Moot " into your quote? Because you are missing the whole point here. But it seems as if you are offended because I stepped into your private blue space here..lol.I am not as good as figuring out how to break a quote down into separate...

No it wont haul or is rated to haul 4,000 pounds. Re-check youre resources. There is no difference between a super-duty van and a e-250. FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

I know I am going to open up a can of worms here, but why do most companies not give us, the o/o, or fleet owner, 100% of the fuel surcharge? If they were paying for the fuel, it would be one thing, but they are not.Even though they are providing a fuel card for us to use, there are fees for...

Ford E250 Super Duty enough truck for the job?

You asked this question before, and it was answered this same way.Why would you buy a short wheelbase 250 to begin with? Why limit yourself? A 4.6 engine? Why? Another member on here had one and did not have good luck with it at all.Get a extended e-350 and be done with it.Don't waste youre...

    pay rate question?

Youre correct. When I was there Vince offered to show me the proper documentation to back up his numbers. That told me just how honest and upfront youre company was even at the talking stage.I failed to remember and post this as well about Load One.

    pay rate question?

With the exception of Landstar always showing the total amount billed to the customer at the time of load acceptance on your Qualcomm, how does anyone leased to any other carrier really know what they are charging the customer? For all we know, they can be charging $5.00 per mile, and we still...

Vinnie, what are you on? $1.20 plus fsc ? Back in 1995 While at Panther I was getting paid $1.35, and that was when fuel was below $1.00 a gallon.Everything else was so much cheaper. Now, everything has sky rocketed in price, but yet, the pay continues to fall.

Amount of hours aloud to run in a CV?

The last company I was leased to did not care one bit how tired I was, they would offer me loads or beg me to take an other load after running 2,750 straight thru, and this was while I was in a straight truck.I can't believe they have not been shut down yet, even after a couple DOT audits.I wont...
