    Diagnosing AC problem

It is amazing how many people ignore the preventative maintenance of keeping all of the components on the front of the vehicle clean such as the radiator, air to air, a/c condensor, etc, to maintain proper airflow through all of that, so that things work properly.Take the raidator out, and wash...

    TA fuel sucks?

Is this an all the time problem, or at just certain locations?I am thinking A cetane problem, or lack of it.Once in awile mine will do that, but some power service will clear that up also.I love Wilco fuel, it seems to run the best, and they have the highest cetane rating out of anybody I have...

Cutaway cargo van vs standard cargo van

If I had to do it all over again, I would get a Ford van with a Spartan or similar body, single rear wheel, under 10k gvw.It just makes more sense.with a 12' body I can build a 48" lightweight stand-up sleeper that I can walk through from the cab raised roof and still haul 2 skids.

carriers without a 5 year or less requirement

Why go with a 250 for expediting? It is kinda like expecting a boy to do a mans job. A 350 is not that much more expensive in cost or parts, but gives you so much more hauling capacity.I could never understand why some one would buy a short wheelbase vehicle for this business, either.Doesnt make...

carriers without a 5 year or less requirement

I totally disagree with you. I bought my 2003 Ford van from ryder for $4,995,(blue-book value was $11,500) and have not had one single breakdown yet.Not to brag, but it looks better than most 2007's I see out here, no rust, and it shines like new.The only thing that kinda put me out of service...

    Deer Guards

Very funny...lol. I still have a box of 150 LED lights new that were intended for my old s/t that I never put on that may go on the van...somewhere-someday.

Flying J no Showers in future

Correct me if I am wrong- but the T/A card requires a van driver to buy how many gallons of fuel? 25? Plus spend $20.00 in the restaurant to get a free shower? What single driver is going to spend that kind of $ for a single meal? No deal what so ever.

How to combat loneliness on the road?

Yesterday I was on s.r. 96 in Upstate NY and it had me turn left onto Tone rd, only to find out it was a dirt road that deadended.Into a Bee farm. Bees were everywhere, people walking around in those bee-keeper suit things.Thenit told me to get back onto 96.Mine must be bi -polar.
