Hunkering is good. Young boys are taught to hunker by their dads. There all that is known is pasted on to the next generation.

As I have said on many occasions, there used to be guns in schools all the time. My dad used to hunt to school and on his way home, many did. They had fights, many guns in school lockers. They were never used, only fists were. Life means nothing these days.
