    Load One Trucks sitting

I think most everyone will agree CSA is a work in progress and that is being nice. With that being said this isn't a Load One vs Panther thread. Panther didn't make this post. I think they run a good company and try hard like us to be operate legally and safely. Honestly this thread serves...

    Load One Trucks sitting

We have had a few down in TX, no argument. I guess I don't know all the facts about what trucks are sitting or not sitting at your carrier or the average sit time. I hear plenty of conversations from drivers looking to sign on in recruiting. But I guess since I don't know all the facts I...

    Load One Trucks sitting

Bottom line if you look at raw SMS data without all the spin both companies are less than half the national average for driver violations on roadside inspections. That is a very good thing.

    Load One Trucks sitting

Dave, Thanks for your post and your concern. But no, I don't think it has had much effect. We only had a few smaller customers that chose to wait till it is returned to satisfactory. Most of our customers fully understood the rating was based on a log audit that fell during the severe winter...

    hello june.

Well, I would respond in detail but I have to work in the morning, lol. As far as how does one driver know vs another... you guys often are parked together or talk on the phone. Trust me I find the fleet knows things sometimes before I do. The fact that our fleet for the most part is friendly...

    hello june.

Then the next driver will say... I would have taken that load vs this one. If I was first up I should have been offered it. Or they would say we should have offered as they could rest or plan accordingly. I have drivers that will have a no east coast message. They will complain when the truck...

    hello june.

While I can see the merits of the hours clause on turn downs, the problem there becomes it is a manual process. It is not something the system is going to apply. Then we go back to the problem of layover. If it is turned down layover does not apply. but if we don't log then we have no record...

    hello june.

Some days I wish the internet didn't work, lol. We have this "discussion" every few months. Pro's and cons to every system. I think we all agree on that. Overall I think our system has more pros than cons.
  19. jelliott

    hello june.

Well in your case Xiggi they did put in the comment why you turned the load down, I think you can see that in fleet vision but I am not sure. No way or relevance to record loads that a truck accepts or says ok to bid on. That really would not serve a purpose. As far as allowed turn downs...

    hello june.

While I understand, not sure how to bend the rule for every situation of what a truck wants to do and not do for a load. I understand your side, but how do you determine fair is fair every time a unit turns down a load?
