Interesting plant shut down schedule this year. Chrysler plants rotating weeks off now thru Aug 11 week at one to three plants a week. The most is 5 the week of Jy 21st. Have to get the Ford and GM schedule.

I tend to be more loved the second half of the year. :)

If we all have good months and bad months (me included remember, lol) then the patience is what gets us to the point to see the big picture and total with averages.

Well expediting is a very unpredictable business model with all it's ups and downs and cycles. So I actually think patience is very tied to this business and revenue. IMHO

They do provide a satisfying feeling, lol.

Todd, how has your revenue been for the first 6 months of this year vs the first 6 months of last year? Yes, I already know the answer :cool: Not really looking for an answer. My real point is big picture on the long term. It isn't about big loads or even a big week. It's about the totals.

I agree. I was a fleet owner before I started a carrier. So I realize to truly succeed the freight needs to work for the trucks. If it doesn't you are just fighting a losing battle.

Not as simple as that. Bidding is much more complicated. We have to look at a lot of factors and we do not attempt to just go to the low number on our bids. We have competition that does that day in and day out. That is not our strategy and that isn't changing.

So many little things we can all do to help improve the image of this industry and help restore it. It all starts with each of us.
