I am extremely impressed by the fact of seeing Mr Elliot interacting so much with us on here, this is a great thing, him being on our level, instead of putting himself so high above us, he cant relate to us.Like Dave KC said, it is nice to hear so many nice comments about a company, from so...

Winter is coming are you ready.

Thinking about replacing the original heater core with 300,000 miles on it,blower motor and resistor have been done already. One more battery and a alternator as well as a set of snow tires and I think that should do it for me.

carrier decals on vans and sprinter

I think it can work two ways, for and against us. 1) imagine a plain van drivng around at the wee hours of the morning, suspiciously driving around a neighborhood trying to look for the shipper/consignee, but the police/public doesnt know he is an expeditor. He could be mistaken for...

Still at the house, was kinda sorta ready to go yesterday, but while doing my oil change, and doing the grab and shake thing of everything that could possibly move,I discovered a bad lower ball joint. All 4 were replaced a little over a year ago, about 110,000 miles ago, so who would expect these...

Does Anyone know about Roof-Top AC Units...

About 10 years ago I had the Coleman Roughneck 13,500btu replaced on top of my Bentz sleeper.I could hang beef in that 96" sleeper in Laredo at 120 degrees outside, no kidding. It was powered by a Powertech 7,500 watt generator powered by a Kubota D-905E 3cyl diesel engine. At the time, Camping...

Does Anyone know about Roof-Top AC Units...

Cheri, a fantastic fan simply either draws or exausts air from a sleeper, not condition it, making it cool, like he is asking about.Besides, he has earlier posted he had a fantastic fan installed....

CV and Sprinter Drivers: Would you still drive

I'd have to agree with Greg on this, a Ford E-450 16' box,Walk -thru from the cab,Diesel or gas, not sure. But definately not a s/t again. The cost of ownership is definately alot lower in a van/cube than a straight.

    Location location .... etc....

It is bad enough we put up with what we do out on the road, truckstop, etc, but to now come to where we can relax and get rid of stress, forget about our (bleep) day, and we've got bickering and thread control going on now..No wonder why there are so many more visitors than members. What a shame...
