It is all about the water pressure that the shower heads allow to go through the shower.Many have a piece of plastic in them, restricting the water flow,these are called water-saver shower heads, and then, because of this, a shower can take twice as long.

If I run into that kind of situation, I will go out to the van and get my cordless drill and remedy that...lol.
