If you're lucky, every bolt holding the dpf in will break. Otherwise, they will fight you to the bitter end. You will probably break off the temp sensor. Make sure it goes in at the same position. You wont be able to plug the temp sensors in otherwise. The dpf maintenance schedule is...

Interesting. There is switch on the brake pedal. A quarter turn unlocks it. adjust it so the plunge is fully pushed in every time the brake pedal is released.

There's a bunch of other stuff it could be, but those are going to be much harder to pinpoint without dealer software.

    Coating for new fuel tank???

Powdercoating would last forever, will not peel when exposed to fuel, and will resist rock chips and salt blast.

    Coating for new fuel tank???

This is the only tank sealer I'll ever use. I've used it on some truly heinous fuel tanks. If allowed to dry completely, it'll last forever and never fail. There have been numerous complaints about pretty much all other fuel tank sealers that I'm aware of, even some popular ones. RED-KOTE...

It's not on the treadle valve, nor on the park brake valve. It's on the service brake valve, near the rear axle. The park brake valve has two pressure switches in it, the service brake valve has just one. I left something out earlier. Unplug it, and put a jumper wire across the two terminals...

Yes. Sometimes, you mash the accelerator to the floor, and the darn thing barely responds, right? Particularly exciting when you're pulling into traffic. Does that sound like what you're dealing with? If so, on the air brake trucks, this switch goes bad sometimes. It's sole purpose is to...

On the service brake relay valve, there is a pressure switch. Unplug it. Does the problem go away?

Surprised with a brand new truck,

I had to ask. A cat peed in my car the other day. I couldn't tell where exactly, so I ripped out all the seats and the carpet, took it to work, poured purple power all over everything, then blasted everything with a steam cleaner. Hours later, it's more or less pristine. Mostly less, but...

One thing that we like to do specifically for trucks like rollbacks (that do a lot of start and stop and idling) is to give it the ability to do a manual regen at any time. This can be accomplished with the dealer software. If a technician was to connect to the engine ecu, go to the...

Who has a 2011 Hino with a six cylinder engine? If you hear a noticeable tick develop, and a valve adjustment doesn't fix it, you need to take some immediate action. Drain the oil, and remove the oil pan. With a strong flashlight, look up at the bottom of the pistons. What you are looking...

Is the abs light on? That will unlock the torque converter and make the trans overheat.replace the range selector switch and transmission wiring harness. Allison ecus don't save codes, they'd have to drive it until it barfs. Rollbacks have crappy grounds on the beds. Run a ground strap across...

I suspect the accelerator pedal sensor is damaged. If it sees any throttle input, the dpr switch will not function.

    Motor oil

Modern motor oils are extremely well engineered products. The amounts of testing that goes into a bottle of motor oil is mind-boggling. I would treat this oil change just like any other, and change it at the normal interval.
