    Big Truck Cab Access

Yeah in a little box truck like that you'd just have access directly from the cab. You wouldn't need a DOT approved sleeper, unless as Chris noted, the GVRW is above 10,000 pounds.

    The Trump Card...

Trump and Sessions know each other very well, and Sessions knows not to overreact to Trump's venting. I also think Sessions didn't need to recuse himself, but understand why he did. If he didn't, the press and the Dems would be leveling charges of conflict of interest and that Sessions was...

    Big Truck Cab Access

Very few sleep inside the box. It's not unheard of, but the cost (and insane hassles) to build a DOT approved sleeper inside the box makes it cheaper to just replace the cargo box with a smaller box and then put in a sleeper.

    Don't July To Me

I've had one snap on me. It's not solid metal, per se, but rather sintered metal. Google will give you the process, but basically sintering is taking finely powered metals and fusing them together with pressure or heat, or often both, to the point where they do become one solid piece of metal...

    Cargo Van Cargo vans??

The program I recommend is leasing on to a reputable expedite carrier. Finding loads, and maybe just as important, collecting the money for the loads, is literally what they do for a living.

I don't think Chris Cilliza or Jim Acosta watches CNN.

The latest new Load One custom

It's CFR 390.5 definitions First it states the weight rating, then it states the actual weight, and then it wraps it up by making it clear that whichever one of those is the greater number is the one to which the rule applies. You could have a GVWR of 9,990, but if you actually weigh 10,045...

The latest new Load One custom

They can, however, cite the driver for not having a log book and medical card, because if it weighs 10,001 pounds or more, regardless of what the weight rating is, it is a CMV. The regs make that very clear. Don't have to argue with anyone about it, all you have to do is read the regulation...

I do think it's important to get news from sources that I know are biased against my own views. The facts that match up between the several news sources can generally be regarded as accurate. I do think Reuters is one of the most neutral sources. NPR's news programs are centrist (On Point is...

I think I still would, although that is somewhat muddled now, and less the case, with cable and especially the Internet. Chomsky's definition (and it would have been mine if I had thought of it first) was born out of the days when the gathering and reporting of the news was a goal unto itself...

Don't want to confuse Fox News Channel with the news departments of the local Fox Broadcasting Network television affiliates. They are both owned by parent company 21st Century Fox, but Fox News Channel is under the Fox News Group subsidiary and the Fox television affiliates are under the Fox...

    The Trump Card...

And here's another little gem. You all remember the deal Trump struck with Carrier in Indy, where instead of closing the plant entirely and moving all of the jobs to Mexico, Carrier agreed to keep more than 1000 jobs in Indy and the rest, about 630 jobs, would go to Mexico. So the fact that...

    The Trump Card...

The best definition I know of, at least in the ballpark sense, comes from Noam Chomsky back in the 1990s. Before the 1990s the mainstream media was pretty much defaulted as the Big Three broadcast networks, the international news services and the major newspapers. Today that's still mostly the...

    The Trump Card...

The Left is throwing anything and everything up aganst the wall to see if anything sticks. They couldn't beat him in November, even with the help of the press. Then they tried to rig the Electoral College. Boy, they really wanted that one bad. They were drooling over that one. He's a Putin...
