Are we havng a Rosa Parks moment, sort of?

She’s in jail of her own accord, she can get out any time she wants simply by following the law. She just found out the biggest lesson you can ever learn, judges hate having their decisions ignored. Even Lindsay Graham says you need to follow rule of law, and he’s never been right about anything...

Here's the fuse and relay panel inside the cab. First row, top, fuse STA SW provides power to the ignition switch. From there, the STARTER fuse sends power toward the ATM STARTER RELAY, which it will pass through if it's in neutral (I'm assuming you have an Allison transmission). This signal...

Ok, one of your earlier posts was a forebearer of things to come. The corrosion in the junction connector box is a big, big problem. Every pin in that box with corrosion needs to be replaced. It's not good enough to just clean the contacts. Corrosion has begun to wick inside the wire itself...

Auto or manual transmission? I am reluctant to call. I love getting calls at 11:30 pm. No one else needs my phone number.

It has been superceded by part number 04226E0101. We have one in stock. Off-topic: Your username mentions Duramax. That Isuzu engine's fuel system is not much different than Hino, having injectors, common rail, and pump made by Denso. Your pump also has an scv, GM may call it a fuel pressure...

    Just had a penitentiary flashback....

Inspect itv, replace if in question. Modify it, whether new or used. I have previously described inspecting a turbo on these. Be harsh with your analysis.

Is the dpr graph at 5 bars? Then yes, manual regen. If not, that's a maintenance reminder. Replace the inlet and outlet sensors on the DPR and have the exhaust brake adjustment checked. Have any open recalls performed.

Gregg, I answer these questions in an open format so others can benefit from the answer. Gregghooper had sent me a pm saying that half of his fuse/relay panel didn't have power. I can't find the 1986 manual. I have one from '89. I doubt there's much difference. They don't publish one...

This is not uncommon, nor is it solely an International issue. Not every truck made is dimensionally perfect, so small tweaks like this are common.

Edit: these are pump part numbers. You want the scv for your pump, correct? Your pump part number is visible, barely, from the side. Its on a black sticker on one of the pumping chambers, visible from the outer side. Get me that number and I can tell you which scv you need.

That's the most common one. Of course, if your dealer has never sold one, they probably won't have it in stock (which is ridiculous).
