    What should I be doing

I'd stay away from H&R. You may just get someone who's been shown how to put figures on a form, not an actual accountant. Get an actual accountant. It may cost more, but it'll be worth it. My friend's son went to H&R and he was just a driver, not an O/O. The H&R flunky thought that he didn't...

Democrats' victory leads to boom in gun sales

    Sudden death?

I have a Presario 2500 that I'll have had for 5 years as of January. I was going to replace it for no particular reason, other than it's 5 years old. Given the business climate we find ourselves in, I'm going to wait. As long as it's running O.K. I wouldn't worry about it for a while.

    Needing Advice

If you look at the cab of a str8 truck and it looks big enough that you'd see it pulling a 53 foot trailer, it's probably a class 8. If it looks like you'd see it delivering beer to your local Quik Stop, it's probably a class 7.

    5,000 Trouble-Free Generator Hours

Most of the noise is just the unit in general, not the exhaust. I add some coolant on a regular basis as well. I had a thermostat go bad and it was repaired with an update kit. I don't seem to add as much now. That 1000 hrs sounds like a sweet deal, mine's 500. Is the fuel filter that long? When...

    5,000 Trouble-Free Generator Hours

I have a little over 3600 hours on my Rig Master. My experience is about the same as Molly's humans. Overall, it's a dependable workhorse, but the noise is just obnoxious. I will most likely consider an Onan/roof unit setup next time around. Your friend's microwave isn't wired to run off the...

    The Aging of the Presidents

He's already back peddling, saying he won't be able to bring "change" in the first 4 years. It would have been interesting to be in the room when he had the "OMG, they actually elected me, now what do I do" moment.

    Industrys failing

I did a short stint with Ford in '74, and like you, I couldn't believe the way things were done. Just imagine if the union had promoted "an honest day's work for an honest day's pay", instead of "do as little as possible for as much as you can get". Yes, the unions are coming around, but it's...

Are You Asking God for the Right Help for Your Business?

It seems like He's pretty busy helping football players score touchdowns and rappers get gold records. I doubt my little expediting venture would be on His radar.

    Help new fleet owner

Do you really think it's a good idea to start a transportation business while the economy is in the process of taking a major dump? And, you don't even know anything about the transportation business? I think I'd hold off for a while.

    Home pages with extra ads

I'm using Firefox and I don't know about resolution. The problem happens sometimes. What I have a problem with all the time is Goodtude's HUUUGGGEE pictures. The bottom scroll bar doesn't appear and I can't read everything that's typed.

But Lawrence, if you were to buy a Camry you'd be supporting fellow Kentuckians working just 50 miles down the road from you. Tork converter included on the E350 as well. When mine went out, I was on my way to deliver at Chrysler in Bramalea, you know, over in that foreign country. I limped it home and had it done at a local shop. The price getting a Ford rebuilt or having him do it was the same. He gave me a better...
