Fun update!! The power company is now projecting that our power will not be back on until Thursday at 8PM. We had NOT planned for a week off. This is starting to suck. :( With any luck they got it wrong and they can get it going sooner.

I have NO problem with taking education out of the hands of the State and Federal Governments. I believe that ALL education should be local. NO teacher should ever be allowed to strike. They should have to produce. No more silliness like graduating people who cannot read or write.

I wonder how they got there? In their own cars? In buses? I sure hope that they did not use public funding to cover the costs of their transportation. I think that governor should be looking into that.
