    Back to Iraq?

The Kurds have to look in TWO directions, not just one. They have to watch Turkey. IF we arm the Kurds, as heavily as we need too, Turkey, a member of NATO, would likely take that as a threat to them. They have been bumping heads with Turkey for a VERY long time. They consider parts of Turkey to...

    Back to Iraq?

We can't, you know that How can you do that WITHOUT taking out Iran, Syria, and likely tangling with Russia? Are you willing to put the B52's in the air and carpet bomb? IF you are NOT willing to fight it, and win it, like WWII, stay home.

    Back to Iraq?

NO introduction of US forces, UNLESS, we intend to fight and win it. We won't do that. We have lost FAR too many troops over the last 60 years, pretending to fight. We do not have the money, the forces or the will, to do what it would take to stop what is going on there. It would NOT stop...

    Back to Iraq?

I doubt very much that most of the American people would be willing to allow the US military to do what it would take to defeat ISIS. NO more use of US forces, UNLESS, we intend to fight it right. Far too many have died, playing around. Either fight and end it, or don't go in. We do not have...

We did NOT go into Rownada. China, Russia or anywhere else millions were being killed. Why Iraq?

    Back to Iraq?

How would you do that? How would it be paid for? With what forces? We keep cutting our capabilities. Does that include all the other genocides that go on?

    Back to Iraq?

The forces of the United States are for the protection of THIS Nation. We cannot afford to be the world's police force. Our moral obligation is to the People of the United States. We do not have the money, or the forces, to stop genocide, in Iraq, or anywhere else.

    Back to Iraq?

No, Not now. The US occupation of Japan ended in 1952. I think it ended in Germany in '51. We have never had peace keeping forces in Europe or Japan. As to the Middle East, that is an entire different ball of wax. 10,000 troops would not be enough.

    Back to Iraq?

Those were not "peace keeping" forces, they were occupation forces. The other HUGE difference it that both Germany, and Japan, were both soundly defeated.

    Back to Iraq?

Of course Russia is involved. It is going to get worse. Unfortunately, we are no longer protected by oceans. Sooner, or latter, we will be forced to fight. It is only a matter of when, and where.

    Back to Iraq?

It goes back MUCH further than that. The REAL "Modern" problem was caused by England in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It really does not matter, nothing we can do to fix it now. It is going to get FAR worse before it gets better.

The dog days of summer: AUGUST!

My wife cooks better chicken than they do in Frankenmuth. Besides, 5 days a week I can ONLY eat styrofoam and drink freeze dried water. On the weekends I prefer home cooked meals. MUCH better tasting and MUCH better for you! Tomorrow it's catfish nuggets, catfish that we caught ourselves...

The dog days of summer: AUGUST!

No reason for me to go up there. I have my "River" and my "Lake" right here. My friends are here, my boat is here. I have nothing to do up there. I have a full life, right here.

You have your opinion, I have mine. All he did was slap everyone who ever wore a uniform right in the face. He did not "heal" anything. IMHO of course.
