Tell me when you are at the shop next. I have the reciepts with me. I'll put $5,000 on this one. Got the cash big boy? I drive one myself... a 159" wb extended 3500. Anyone that is willing to put up cash can call me a liar... temporarily.

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

Yup! I just did. :) BTW, the last Mercedes shop I was in with a $printer was $154 an hour TWO years ago... the oil change was $240. I changed my Promaster's oil Monday at Walmart with Mobil One full synthetic for $43 TOTAL. Shop prices the same? NONSENSE!!!

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

We looked at mpg first & foremost... the Promaster being substantially shorter height & being lighter, with a more efficient drive train has to deliver better mpg... and we are seeing others report the same. My Promaster is delivering a consistent 21+ mpg on regular gasoline. I have all the...

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

Is the longest version (170" cargo floor) is available as a 4 wheeler, but with reduced cargo weight carrying capacity. However, I really think the longest (Jumbo) version is the only 3 skid capable machine and thus the only Transit suitable for expediting. I would much rather preferred...

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

I may be mistaken but I don't believe that is quite long enough cargo floor length to be considered a "3 skid machine"? Isn't the cargo floor measured at 143"???

    hello june.

I got too excited, sorry! I went back and fixed them. :)

    hello june.

But you would you be a part of a group of $printer owners that would agree to take all of the low paying runs so that's a few privileged $printer owners can take all cherry runs? It absolutely blows my mind to think there are a few $printer owners out there that think everyone else will take...

    hello june.

Good point! What if John looks at us one day and decides we are too much trouble, picks up the phone and sells Load1 by noon to one of the many offers I'm sure he's gotten. We will all be on 80 cents per mile flat ra plus $0.19 FSC by the end of the week. Where will we all be then? We have it...

    hello june.

I vote for the "Off With Their Heads Policy". It ends the discussion very quickly and we know there will not be any back talk about it!!! ;)
  17. westmicher

    hello june.

I'm advocating that we listen to what the boss has clearly said, that we are not currently meeting the customer's needs, and something must be done. I'm advocating that we ALL support the eventual change(s) that will come to meet our customers needs. Asking to be left alone, to the detriment of...

    hello june.

Oh man!!! I just realized that it would be really, really easy to draw a dashed line around my neck!!! A sort of target! Have you thought about that? " Don't stick your neck out too far!" ;) Change IS coming!
  19. westmicher

    hello june.

I guess we will have to still take the good paying runs too... I missed the part where Load1 is a democracy? Change IS coming! John has already figured that out... we are NOT meeting the customer's needs. The question of CV or no CV can be answered by policy changes with the $printer class. I...

    hello june.

Because to be fair, everyone needs to participate. Fair is the key. A change in policy is coming. Can't leave you out of it. Clearly the customer's needs are not being met. Can't you hear John's words? He didn't say these things simply to give his fingers something to do. He is telling us...
