We can not win on price, but every Load-1 driver helps our clause tremendously when we are the most professional and courteous drivers out there! Clients really remember that... and that's our edge!

The stupid thing is the Promaster has both fully automatic AND manual ranges on the shifter... BUT the manual range ONLY enables the driver to force downshifting, NOT PREVENT DOWNSHIFTING!!! Apparently the diesel may have that capability when it arrives!?!?!?

I don't think they are yet. My dealer saw my polyurethane coated red oak panels and want to sell them for me saying, "We have people asking for liners and I can't get them anywhere." I made patterns so I can duplicate them for our future vans but they are too costly to sell at any price...

Ram says the transmission learns your driving style and reprograms itself to compliment your driving style. This appears to be true... the crazy downshifting syndrome seems to have all but disappeared. Even when on cruise control, it waits much longer before downshifting now, which I like much...

Funny you asked... actually, another little idiosyncrasy of this van is, while the maximum tire pressure listed on the tire says 83 psi, if I don't run at least 85 psi, the stupid warning light on the dash comes on! Fairly common I've heard.

As I recall, I think those $printer cab/chassis were rated @ 10,200 GVW, even though the van bodies were rated @ 9,990 GVW. Make SURE of what the door sticker says, maybe by requesting a picture of the door sticker. Sent from my SM-N900V using EO Forums mobile app
