Looking for info on FedExCC Owner-Operators

Well here is some advice, if you are h*ll bent on being an owner, start learning what it takes to run that truck from the owners point of veiw. Go through and do the same due diligence as you would if you are entering the business for the first time, set your goals, budget, get your tools in...

The Downfall of Bentz Transport Products, Inc.

Sorry Simon, they were a poor workmanship product and very poor customer care. Anyone can build a sleeper, there are a few expediters who have made their own but it is the quality under the skin and the performance of the company after the sale that sets them apart from the home made stuff...

0 - What am I picking up (this is important) 1 - how much does it pay and if it is all inclusive 1a - if it is all inclusive, break out the fuel surcharge 2 - pick up address (gets put into the computer and then I can see actually how many miles I need to go) 3 - delivery address (also gets...

    This Isn’t Change, It’s Treason

Well outside of the continue lack of enforcing the immigration laws (and sovereignty issue) and interfering with other law enforcement agencies to enforce the laws, there isn't much that you can really get him on right now. That is a continuation of Bush's policies (go figure) and Bush could...

    Tag-A-Long APU

Wow that's old.... Unless they are importing them again under the Kohler banner. Look up Blue Ridge Diesel and see what they can tell you.

    Tag-A-Long APU

Before you do a thing, first see who actually made the generator head - it is most likely an off the shelf unit. Once you get that, then see if you can call the manufacture to get info on how it is wired.

The Writing on the Wall, of the trailer, that is

So is there an investigation? Did you call FedEx? Did you take pictures and have the customer acknowledge what was there? Did you load the trailer?

    cargoMAXX

Cargomaxx dude got a few questions for you, really appreciate you answering them. 1 - you mentioned that the Curb GVRW of the gasser is 6993 lbs, do you know what the Curb weight is for the diesel version of your product? 2 - are you willing to retro-fit an existing van? 3 - I asked this...

    October location...

So Piper, I am wondering about these Panera bread places, do you hang out like a coffee/laptop junkie inside at a table all day with ear buds in your years twitting away or do you partake of the beautiful scenery of the parking lot for hours and hours?

    Something to look forward to

What? Nothing new here folks, move along.... The people who support the freedoms and equality of everyone while protesting the war and so on all lump a lot of different groups into one group, the repressed or is that the oppressed? Well the point is that all of these people who want to...

Canada My last trip to Canada was my last trip to Canada

Actually the IRS will tell you they won't do a thing, you are under a contract and work exclusively for the company as a tool tio provide services to the company's customers. Their concern is to make sure that taxes are properly paid and this is the only reason that they have the 21 points...

one mans cutaway cargo van solution

Cargo vans can be ordered with a 4.1:1 or even a 3.42:1 depending on the dealer but come with the 3.73:1 standard. But we are talking about the cutaways, not the cargo vans and that makes the difference in the mileage. The 9600/10k cutaway chassis (both 139 and 159 WB) comes with the 4.10:1...

    dogs

Zoli, Don't take this wrong but if you are in the cab, a dog won't make much difference to your health. Every truck, even the ones with the supper scrubing HVAC systems have dirty air quality.

one mans cutaway cargo van solution

I am finding that most of these trucks sit in the 12 to 14 MPG range because of two factors, one is the engine and volumetric efficiency and the other is wind load on them. I forget the numbers for speed and fuel consumption but the GM 6.0 runs better at a specific engine speed down the road...

Why do journalists write about trucking ?

I am not agreeing with much here. Many of you lump news of an accident or a problem as the negative press that seems to be out there. Yes there are stories about truckers and trucking in the press everyday but read the stories. It is like the story about the GPS destroying bridges, everyone...
