10 ways to get revenge on a telemarketer

I used to keep a stuffed clown near the phone, for just those calls - when it's tummy was poked, it laughed the most wicked, evil, SCARY laugh imagineable. I kind of hated doing it to innocent people, who were just trying to make a living, but I didn't call them, after all, they called me.

    Darwin Awards

Thanks, CT - I love reading about people who do things that are dumber than I could even imagine, lol. It makes our own goofs seem so much easier to live with. :+

    Foods

Fruit juice is good for hypoglycemia, it's fast. I don't know if it's that last thing you mentioned - I can't figure out what it is....

Two helicopters crash watching a car chase

Um, Leo - is the news media REQUIRED to cover crimes in general, or car chases in particular? Or is it a choice they make? I know they insist that it's in response to 'demand', but frankly, I think that's a lot of bullhockey. They cover 'news' because it's both cheaper to produce, (creating...

FedEX Truck Crashed in California !

I just read an update, according to Forbes, the driver suffered only a sprained ankle & cuts, and has been released from the hospital. Not so lucky is the construction worker injured, who remains in serious condition, with multiple fractures.

REFORM (means.. make your wallet thinner)

We the people have been just about completely divided & conquered, by our own representatives, using our own tax dollars, no less! As long as people hold their first loyalty to be to their chosen political party, and devote their energy to criticizing the other party, the bickering is endless...

    How low will you go?

Firegears: I have just one thing to say, and then I'm finished wasting my time replying to your rants. Your advice to "increase the dosage", implying as it does, that I take psyche meds, constitutes an actionable slander - you want to be careful about comments like that. Beyond that, I have...

What do we want for Expo 2008?

Makes perfect sense! It's like, when the dentist says that brushing & flossing are important - if he doesn't show you how to do it correctly, he's not helping you, really, because you could be doing it, but all wrong. It's a good idea, I think. Are you volunteering to lead it? ;)

    How low will you go?

Firegears: I comprehend, all right - you are an individual who frequently insults others at an angle, leaving yourself an 'out' in case you're confronted. Claiming "it was a joke" is a typical response from a bully, when called to account for his actions. I haven't missed the snide references...

What do we want for Expo 2008?

Good point, OVM! Here's another possibility for a seminar: personal safety. Discussing how to avoid trouble, (ie: a passenger seat piled with stuff is a dead giveaway that the driver is alone), and some tips on how to handle it if it should arise, as most 'weapons' are illegal in a commercial...
