    How low will you go?

Firegears: on another forum, just the other day, you posted the following: Saying you're something is easy, but not necessary (sic) accurate. As an example, one can say they are an adult, but their actions will always speak louder, and sometimes not validate their statement. With the above...

    How low will you go?

In that situation, I'd accept a load that paid almost anything, as long as it took me to a better place - it beats deadheading!

What do we want for Expo 2008?

Umm, a fridge full of Lean Cuisine & dark chocolate is as far as I've got - that's why I suggested Linder - she actually cooks! And I bet a lot of drivers do, too, but I've been known to have pickled beets & popcorn for an evening meal, lol.:+

Two helicopters crash watching a car chase

I can't see where anyone is responsible for the crash except the pilots, who failed in their first duty: to control their aircraft. The piling charges on a guilty party may be currently fashionable, but IMO, it's wrong, and only breeds disrespect for the law. Punishing the guilty is a necessity...

What do we want for Expo 2008?

Oh! I've got one! Linder could do a seminar on "47 ways to use your rice cooker" - I'd bet that would be really popular, cause we've all got to eat, but we're not all that accomplished on preparing tasty meals on the go... And TennesseeHawk could teach us to make his fabulous pork chops, and...

Are you offended, or made uncomfortable, by reading the word 'penis' on this site?

RE: Offended? "Childish & irresponsible" is exactly what we are trying to avoid here. Context is often the difference between offensive and acceptable, with the usage of many words, so the word itself can be either, depending on how it's used. I stand by my assertion that the word was...

What do we want for Expo 2008?

If JamminJim gets his wish, then Greg would be correct - but there were enough bathrooms, so I'd veto the dancing girls, just in case.:P Seriously, the seminars put on by experienced folks, like DaveKC, and Terry, for example, are what sets the Expedite Expo apart, and I'd like to see more of...

Are you offended, or made uncomfortable, by reading the word 'penis' on this site?

RE: Offended? Packmule's comment, about how the word is taught to children, who are then expected to use it correctly, is precisely the reason for the poll. One member included the word in a post, using it correctly, and another member took offense. Yet another member referred to 'that...

    Expedite Expo Expedite Expo 2007

Garcia & I had a great time, in spite of the lingering bronchitis, and totally agree that Lawrence & Debbie McCord and Terry & Rene O'Connell deserve a standing ovation for a job well done. I didn't win the cool truck - but there's always next yrar, & if I know Elmo, it'll be even better! ;)

    Whose bright idea was it?

Crazy, 'Resume legal speed' is a leftover from a construction zone, where the speed limit was temporarily lowered. I'm sure they just forgot to remove it when the construction was finished, as it's always placed about a mile past the 'End construction' signs. ;)

    Fedex loads to Express1

The chowderheads sometimes do return - then the guys in charge of pest control around here are required to terminate them with extreme prejudice. :P

    UPS Expedite

John Robinson, aka Jrbears, is a recruiter for UPS, and I believe him to be an honest, and trustworthy man - when he replies to your query, as he surely will, you can believe what he says. Good luck to you! :)

    Fedex loads to Express1

Hanceh: what Greg said is the truth: whatever 'right to privacy' you feel was violated, doesn't exist, except in your own mind. Here's a thought: try teaching your mind to replace the self defeating habit of blaming others for everything, with a plan to achieve what it is that you want...

    Fedex loads to Express1

Obviously, since I use my actual name, I agree with Rich: not all people, but an awful (and I mean that literally) lot of them, feel braver when they think they're anonymous. Like the drivers who behave in ways they wouldn't have the cojones to pull off, if anyone could retaliate, they act like...

    A satisfied mind

Congratulations, Coco, on finishing - it must feel wonderful! And just to make sure that your granchildren will never know the sorrow of being unable to remember your voice, why not record it, in your own voice, as an audiobook? It might be the most precious gift they get from you, over a...

    Fedex loads to Express1

Hanceh: while everyone is entitled to their opinion, credibility isn't granted automatically - it's EARNED, over time. Just ask yourself how much you've earned, in one week, and compare it to the respect earned by Terry over MANY years of contributing, volunteering, and being a big part of...

    Respect or Class

Most of us can tell the difference between flirting, and friendly compliments, thank goodness! I'd say that respect, or class, is evidenced by someone who tries to avoid making another person feel uncomfortable. Etiquette is a formal means of teaching it to those who don't come by it naturally...

FedEx CC switchubg to T Check!

RE: RE%3A FedEx CC switchubg to T Check%21 Now, why does that remind me of Highway Star's old tagline: "I'm at a motel. I don't know which one, but there's two trees here"? Ok, I guess I can do some super sluething too! ;) Thanks, Hawk - I'll find it.
