    + sign

Maybe a - would be someone on your 'ignore' list. Dunno, as I haven't anyone on mine. Dreamer: I never like things that flash or move on the page, but I do like your lil zoom thingy - it's so perfect for what we do, lol. :D

    Another Dog related question

Having seen with my own eyes the damage that a dog with an irresponsible owner can wreak, I offered to add a rider to the contract I drive under, addressing any potential damage - it's only fair. Of course, I don't expect to have to pay for damages, but if it happens, I will. I hope to get a dog...

    And on a brighter note

Phil: as THawk clearly stated that he was just guessing, why would you get so acrimonious, suggesting that he's implying knowledge the rest of us don't have? I think he's on the right track, though: there's plenty of evidence that Bush's administration pushed the banks (including Fannie &...

    The Puppy Project

Haha - your dog sounds cool, (I think Moot's is a Wheaten), and I don't mind the grooming part, but I'm just wondering: when is the crate not in use? Don't you have it available for the dog all the time?

    Breakfast Pizza -Oh My!!

Anne's pizza, with Bob Evans sausage & gravy sounds pretty good, too! :)

    Breakfast Pizza -Oh My!!

I'm not seeing any reason it can't be made in the truck: ready made pizza crusts come in small sizes (personal), bacon and eggs can be cooked in the microwave, then layered on the crust with cheese, and finished in the microwave, on maybe 70% power, to melt the cheese evenly. I'll try it, and...

    The weather outside is frightful!

K, I'm a wimp - so sue me....:D:D:D but SOME of us haven't got a great big furball to snuggle up with (yet) Jeesh, I had to wear earmuffs today!

    The weather outside is frightful!

Here on the edge of Lake Erie, it's about 12 degrees, with the wind from 30-45 mph, it feels like -18, and the gusts are rocking the truck! (Airtabs aren't helping, lol) How chilly is it where you are?

Agree with the crate, Pel - dogs need a safe, quiet, private place too, that is not shared (except with their toys). Also agree with the need for a leash when outdoors, no matter how "well trained" (and training is a necessity). Sure could use a cuddle puppy tonite - it's FREEZING!!!

how many still out here today

Having a Dr appt tomorrow, I DH home (Cleveland) from Erie, Pa, Fri, after waiting 24 hrs for a load going in the same general direction. (Turned down Mississippi, lol). Will be in service on the 26th, but am not expecting much till after New Year's..... DID I READ THAT RIGHT? 50 CENTS A MILE...

    The Puppy Project

Wow- some great stuff! First, I am going to check the local shelter before trying anywhere else, (Hawk, I know about puppy farms, and wouldn't consider it), and I do intend to research the breed(s) before committing to one. I'd like something small enough for me to pick up to clean paws (I keep...

    The Puppy Project

Danny: I'm seriously considering a ****apoo (****er/poodle) if I can find a small one - I like the combination, so far. I had a CS once (named Smokin Joe:rolleyes:) and he was the stubbornest dog ever - if he didn't want to walk, I couldn't drag him down the street, he'd just plant himself and...

    The Puppy Project

Sorry, Piper, but a stuffed anything won't do, I already have a moose! :) Aileron: the Bichon is an adorable little fluffball, but according to the pros, is one of the highest maintenance dogs alive, can be yappy, requires 30 minutes a day of brisk exercise, is notoriously hard to housebreak...
