It gets tough, when it's been a couple days, but even I've learned to trust dispatch - they're good people, and they didn't forget about you. :)

Are you saying that anyone who is 'just a driver' is making poor business decisions and therefore provoking contempt and ridicule from the members who feel their own business decisions are superior? Really? Or did I misunderstand?

Maybe we need to have a warning label: "Oppressed, abused, and insulted citizens may revolt." With photos of the many revolutions in history, including the American one. And maybe the US Capitol should put photos of prisons and convicts up with the warning "Corruption may cause convictions"...

As far as the offered rate: does the phrase 'taxation without representation' mean anything to you? What it means to me is that the wise men who created the Constitution, Declaration, and Bill of Rights were all about being fair - they didn't believe that 'might makes right', and neither do I...

Not following the logic: if they speak as an employee, which many independent contractors do simply out of longstanding familiarity with the terminology, they are de facto provoking ridicule and contempt?

If I'd looked at Beacon's profile, I'd have known that it isn't spam, because I know you, and you don't get fooled very often. But I didn't check the profile. :( PS I sometimes envy the 'quiet ones', but I sure don't understand how they do it, lol.

This ^^^ is an example of what folks who don't post here [like Susie] usually say they'd rather not risk: an unprovoked attack on their thoughts, just reeking of condescension. So, if you're intent is to drive them away, or discourage them from posting: good job. :(

I can see it now, all the fashionistas & celebrities in their 'little AfricanAmerican dresses', people getting 'African American-balled' from country clubs, and the plague will now be referred to as the African American plague..... Somebody needs to get a grip before heads begin spontaneously...

I solved the problem [a nice warm jacket I didn't want to give up because it's not too bulky] by sewing a patch [the 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil' monkeys] over the old company name, but not sure how big a logo you're dealing with. :confused:

I think it's a perfectly FAIR question after so many years of drivers getting the same rates [in some cases, even less]. Why aren't we included in the cost of living hikes that are necessary just to stay in the same place? When might we expect to be compensated with the same consideration shown...

Judging by the number of folks insisting on "less regulation" [and was it Michelle Bachmann who promised to eliminate the EPA?!], holding breath is not advisable. Seriously - do they TRUST profit minded corporations to refrain from dumping toxic waste in the handiest body of water?
