In NY the exemption form I believe is DTF-802 or 803, there is no weight restrictions for it and it has the exemption for carrying passengers or freight. The DMV was able to confirm I was correct after awhile, I guess other states it is easier to deal with because they don't have the extra hoops...

It is probably for some of the same reasoning MA and TN require trucks to have fitted sheets in the sleeper. It is just so they have one more law to go in and search through things without needing a warrant.

When you use an all terrain tire you usually have a little bit of a decrease in mpg because of the rolling resistance due to the tread depth and pattern. Any loss of mpg due to tread depth will obviously disappear as the tires wear a little.

I am planning to leave the rubber mat in place then put Reflectix over that and then of course a plywood floor. I think it will work for the summer and fall but I was thinking for the winter I will build a low platform and then put some foamboard insulation in it.

I went through CIS that advertises on here because they were the cheapest. The insurance is provided by Progressive which when I got a quote through Progressive themselves I was given a price that was much more.

I was thinking it will get the batteries charged faster so if I am sitting and running a couple of things from the power points it will require less idling.
