    cruise Control for sprinter van

Not that I know of, it is drive by wire, so it would have to have a factory cruise system installed.

FedEx Freight Rolls Out Streamlined Operations

Are we allowed to comment? This is a good thing, not a bad thing. The affect to CC will be nothing but if it does, it will mean more work.

    Independent Contractor vs. Employee

As a general rule, if you 'hire' a driver and let them loose without direction or make decisions for them, they are sub-contractors within all 50 states. If you direct them how to do the job, what route to take, what loads to take and so on, they are employees. FedEx's cases are based on how...

BREAKING NEWS: FMCSA proposes EOBRs for all interstate carriers

I don't see the change with the shippers at all as many are trying to sell, it is their market and they will just go somewhere else.

    Administration itself sank ObamaCare

If you notice something, that the administration and the dems haven't been putting up a big fight over this. I concluded when this passed that Obama may have had it written so it would lose in the courts and be able to us it as a stepping off point for the 2012 campaign - "I tried but look what...

Judge uses Obama’s words against him

I think many of you miss something, the supreme court doesn't have to hear the case. They can decide not to hear it and this will let the lower court ruling stand with no appeals.

    barrycare ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL

First, the VA has a long way to go. It is doing ok within the limits of what they have but when things get rolling with Obama care, you may see some things cut. Second the VA is a typical government agency, I seen some things I didn't like on my last tour there. Third, the insurance pays the...

    New Jersey judge sucks

Get over it - this is New Jersey. I like this; Some of you don't like common sense and brief, harsh, to the point comments so stop reading now. Well if you think there is some common sense anywhere within the article, there isn't by the two of the four parties involved. Start with the...

    Liberal vs. Conservative

Well take a hard look at the people who are doing all the talking, from the talk show hosts to the politicians to the people flapping their gums repeating what they hear, there really isn't much difference - one group wants this stop but wants the government to stop it while another group wants...

    barrycare ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Who loves the spot light? Roberts? I think it is just the opposite, they don't make a big deal about being media stars and I only heard him speak once. It's his court, he and the others on the court may decide not to allow it on the docket ... and that's all she wrote!

    Liberal vs. Conservative

Yeah I do to but many are getting the lines blurred between Liberal and conservative more and more. Many act like Liberals, but claim to be conservative, even the conservative saint Ronnie was a liberal who read A Road to Serfdom.

    barrycare ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Well I am wondering if we are going to see the normal split or if they even hear the case because of the Roberts vs. Obama issue? I think if they refuse to hear the case, it will be a show of power that is needed and puts the administration on notice like the FDR administration had to deal with...

Judge Rules: MN Fatigue Program Violated 4th Amendment

Layout, I would suggest you read the specifications and understand what it needed to make it work. Cheating is hard to do when many of them will not function if messed with. But back no topic, I think this will have a good effect on the sleep apenia issue I brought up.

Ford; retire the E-van, build the Transit

Well according to the dealers in the past, they were supposed to retire the Mustang too. The 2014 date seems to be the "date" but they have yet to determine what the drive train is going to be, it may not be a diesel but rather the v6 gasser. This has been a ping pong subject, but the E-series...

Judge Rules: MN Fatigue Program Violated 4th Amendment

That is true Layout, but you have to understand that to cheat, it will take two different parts of the equation - the driver/owner and the carrier. Hacking doesn't mean that it will help the driver, and for that matter what will be gained by it? If there is tampering that can be proved, it...

Ford; retire the E-van, build the Transit

Well I don't know, I have nothing about Ford dropping the E-series going into 2015 (seeing it still outsells GM and all the other vans and it is still a mainstay), they are still talking about a 2013 debut for the transit but they were supposed to market it back in 2006. Where did you hear this?

    So I nearly killed us

Glad you are alright, hope the other guy is too. Don't take the following wrong BUT do not get over it, be a better driver because of it. The traumatic affect from the accident will fade with time but your diligence from it I hope doesn't.

Coming to a carrier near you - EOBRs

Well I'm listening to WSB Atlanta and an accident happened, killing a one of the motorist assistance people. A tractor hit the guy while he was on the side of the road helping someone - this happened on I85 exit 77. It may be another good excuse for EOBRs and other things to "make us safe".
