What happens say you run out of hours on a Wednesday or Thursday? Keeping mind that there are less freight opportunities on the weekend.

I am ok with common sense regulations to stop the very thing you are talking about. As for the 34 provision, if it was a good idea the airlines would have done it years ago.

The whole thing is silly. Are folks going to better rested after sitting three days in a truck stop? Not likely. If they are concerned with safety (which they are not) they would go back to the split sleeper berth and and change the 14 hour rule so that a break can be added or the 14 hour clock...

It would be hilarious enough if that happened. This character has tried this numerous times in the past. Wasn't sure if they/he was going to pull a fast one somewhere that I wasn't aware of.

What is no shock is Obama promised "no tax increases on the poor and middle class". Well that lasted through his campaign and that was it. Payroll tax increase starting the first of the year, followed by the new Obamacare tax. Yet...some of these people fell for this line again. Just amazing.
