I remember joking with my nephew when E-1 had their split pay - $1.20, unless it's a favored customer... then it's $1.12. I said everyone will become their favored customer.
They did.
I don't know what they're paying now. What are you and your husband planning on driving?
I've also been to the t/s Big Red mentioned. Lots of parking. Waffle House is always worth it, IMO. :D
There's also a Pilot up in LaGrange, in case you want to move back towards 85.
He said two aluminum pieces together that long tend to weld themselves to each other. Instead of having them get a new condenser and hose ($500), I took it to a radiator shop. They'll put a new fitting on the condenser AND repair the hose for $130.
Don't you dare put this on me! I didn't nominate the man; and I sure as hell won't throw away my principles to vote for him. For me, it's not a difference between socialist and social-lite... it's a difference between burning in a blue light, or a red one. I will not sell my country by voting...
Funny you should mention that. Political correctness has changed the way we laugh, as well. Where the old SNL would have a skit based on race (like the famous Chevy Chase saying the N-word), SNL went to pot for a long time, because they seemed like they were in fear of offending 'someone'. It...
Not always true, Muttly, about voting for who you want as pres. Last time, I voted for the wench, not the corpse. Now, it's going to take a lot more than a pair of conservative boobs to get me to vote Republican. I will NOT vote for RINO Romney.
The condenser is $350. I'm taking it, and the hose, to an a/c place, to see if they can repair the threads. I'm hoping it'll save me 200 or so off the new/ rebuilt one.
Took the truck in for a busted a/c hose. When they went to disconnect it from the condenser, it stripped the threads. No telling how much I'm looking at now.
I can see the pom pom thing... a little over the top with the praises. But IMO Dave doesn't do that. He criticizes them as well, as he should. A company shouldn't be able to proudly display their flaws, and not be called on it.
