I had cruise added to the CargoMax before they delivered it. $375 neighborhood (already forgot!). I too wish it was on the steering wheel or turn sgnal arm. Can that be done? Seems like it would be somewhat simple?

I had AT&T until a few months ago and I now have Verizon. Verizon's 3g coverage area is very good and beats AT&T really, really bad. I wouldn't consider anything else. Verizon also has a 10gb plan for $80/mo.

That was going to be my answer. Chevy used to do the same thing, may still do it? I know at one time you could get a heavy 1500 and you could get a light duty 2500. I did know the difference back then, but I forgot now :)
