    17.4x mpg on gasoline

Have you changed your gear ratio? In this thread, you said you had 3:73's? http://www.expeditersonline.com/forum/general-expediter-forum/39295-19mpg-van.html Not trying to be smartaxx. My cargomax has 4:11's and that's the first thing I want to change...either to 3.73 or 3.42.

    Det

If you meant to say DEF fluid, then you should have a seperate tank for that. The 100 gallon fuel tank will have nothing to do with the DEF tank. How long it will last depends on the size of the DEF tank. Here is a thread that might help some. The Caffee's seem to be getting close to 500 mpg...

    Watch OUT!!

I got pulled into the rest area on Hwy 23 south of Columbus, OH about 4:30 wed am. The DOT man got out and immediatley told me that the reason he pulled me in was because I was a straight truck. I just chuckled and told him that wasn't the first time for that! lol. He laughed and told me that...

    DEF or Diesel Exhaust Fluid

Thanks...was beginning to think I was the only one who could read her post.

    DEF or Diesel Exhaust Fluid

The numbers she posted calculate to 1/2 penny per mile and 10-11,000 miles per tank. I doubt they've asked for a fsc increase or need a larger tank.

    Van fuel pumps

Would the van not have the same fuel pump as a 2002 2500hd pickup? I had to replace the pump twice on my pickup. It had around 150k on it when I sold it. I didn't pay anywhere near that price for either of them. It was around $650 total best I remember.

I would move to El Paso Correction: I would ask dispatch first. They would probably recommend El Paso. If they didn't, I would move to their best suggestion.

Westboro Baptist plans to protest in Joplin

I am glad you said that. I had a post typed saying the same thing but since it seems you could be a possible member of their association, I decided not to take a chance on being in a lawsuit. But, you said it best :) This is exactly my entire point. My larger point is that sooner or...

Westboro Baptist plans to protest in Joplin

yes...you are correct...actually I stopped guessing a long time ago. Probably about the time you started laying down to let people like this walk across your yellow back :D

Westboro Baptist plans to protest in Joplin

I guess I'm as stupid and scary as the citizens of Brandon then because I love what they did and hope that the people in Joplin are able to stop them too. I actually wish they could figure out a way to stomp their butts in the ground without getting into a lawsuit, but I doubt than can happen :D

    Honda 2000i generator fuel connection

I mentioned that in earler post. I didn't know, but suspected it's not built to do alot of work.

    Honda 2000i generator fuel connection

So...both of you talked to this guy and looked at his set up and we don't have a single picture..not even a list of parts needed? :D I'm thinking it's gotta be pretty simple. I haven't even bought the generator yet. I would like to have a decent idea of what I want to do before I purchase...

Westboro Baptist plans to protest in Joplin

I doubt it...but I would...and I would drive, fly, walk or crawl to get there to do it too.

    Honda 2000i generator fuel connection

Wow... live and learn. I had NOT considered any of that! That's why It's good to have an open forum of discussion on this stuff. Ok...so maybe there was a fly in my ointment...it was just a small fly :D I'll get it out...well maybe!

    Honda 2000i generator fuel connection

My thoughts are to keep everything as neat and low profile as possible. If I could bypass the existing tank and feed straight to the inlet, I could avoid having the lines poking up out of the cap. There has to be a fuel line running from the Honda's existing tank to the fuel inlet. I'm thinking...

    Gas tanks & Static electricity

I have considered something like you've mentioned, but I'm not sure that connecting to any of these tanks would be any different or more beneficial than just connecting to the van's existing fuel tank. I've got a thread in the truck forum about that. (for others that might run across this...

Westboro Baptist plans to protest in Joplin

I don't ever even look in this forum, but when I saw this thread, I had to read it. It's clear that these people are begging someone to retaliate against them so they can file lawsuits and collect money which in turn finances more of the same. I could go, but I won't...it wouldn't be good. I...

    Honda 2000i generator fuel connection

This may be the best way to do it, but it's not exactly what I'm wanting to do. I would like to actually bypass the honda's existing fuel tank and just feed straight from the van tank to the fuel intake line of the generator. Below is the concept I have in mind (thanks to Dennis). I just...
