Having spent all of January running in snow storms between Indy, Chicago and Connecticut we got a run to Pompano Beach, Florida delivering on Friday. Made our drop, dead headed home and watched it on TV.

I had the same problem. Pilot bearing wore out causing the clutch to not be in the proper position. Then a spring came out of the clutch causing it to bind on the flywheel. The drive train would not disengage when that happened. I had to have a new clutch, input shaft, and flywheel installed...

Whenever I have a problem with FedEx I call FedEx and the problem gets solved.

I don't run for Load 1, but it seems that the shore power idea would be a great one. A place to plug in your block heater, space heater and electric blanket. Sleeping warm in peace and quiet.
