    August. Where you at,

What kind of Smart Phone are they talking about? I-Phones are smart phones, so are Android phones. If they have the app working on I-Phones there is no reason why it can't work on an I-Pad. Well, there are...but.... I suspect that they only have the app for Android and not for the I-Phones.

Ahh, don't feel too bad. I am very very close to your number for the week. Wrong place, wrong time, or just purely stink bait. Who knows any more?

How should I call this, sabotage or discrimination?

Money is a huge part of really really liking a fleet owner. My point was that there was something there that opel's driver did not like and he jumped ship when the opportunity knocked. Also, we are talking about vans here, not straights or tractors. There is little money in a van load to begin...

How should I call this, sabotage or discrimination?

If my fleet owner treated me really really good, and I really really liked him, nobody could make me move.

I'll be passing through in a few hours, but unfortunately it will be a few miles to the south of you. Would have liked to stop by and say hi.

what time of the year is best time to start

There is no best time to get into van expediting. Straight or tractor might be different. But the van market is overcrowded, so stay away if at all possible.

Anyone out there letting O/O's bid their own loads?

If I was leased to that company I either would not go to Laredo, or I would change the company. I ain't driving for fun.

    Tri-State Miss Understood

Sorry to be so blunt, but if you don't have $100 in reserve so you can get home, maybe expediting is not for you.

    Tri-State Miss Understood

About accidents, I don't know if this is the case with Tri-state, but it is a possibility. When I was in the orientation before starting for one of my previous carriers, the nice instructor lady told us that it didn't really matter if you were at fault or not. The carrier was self insured...

    Bad lights, bad wiring...

To me, this tells more about the drivers than the vehicles.
