I agree with the pre-trip end of it but the shop should have checked the problem. Turbo's are cooled by oil. It's supposed to be checked by the mechanic to make sure the cooling line didn't break and loose oil or the when the Turbo went south it didn't send oil out the exhaust. To many dip...
