    What do you think?

Yes, they broker out a lot every day, so does everyone, what I'm saying is the loads FedEx farms out, there is a reason they are doing it, and it's to save money. As an outside carrier you see what the load pays, but you don't see what the load will cost FedEx to run on one of their own trucks...

    What do you think?

I have to speak up on this, and my pom poms are safely stowed away too. Sure FedEx still makes good money on some loads and on a lot of others, they have been cut thin (I still see the customer charges on most of my loads). Your load to Salt Lake, if you factor in the amount of deadhead pay...

AT&T is how I spell FAIL!

Don`t have a clue how it works Turtle, but Bell and Telus in Canada have added HSPA to their CDMA networks (and did it pretty quickly to allow them to offer the I-Phone. It got a lot of people excited as the GSM network in Canada (Rogers) absolutely stinks as far as reliability is concerned.

    FedEx Warts

Hopefully Leo the new Qualcomm units (whenever we get them) can solve some of this stuff. I agree that on standard loads it could be a QC checkout process, just give us a checklist to agree to and be done...all that 1-800 phone time has to be costing FedEx money as well as us. I would also love...

    Mid-Atlantic Snow this weekend

Good thing you weren`t counting on me for food Cheri, I spent the night south of Charleston as a guest of the WV Turnpike. I would have thought that all those fancy message boards in Charleston might have told you the road was closed, but no, they left that up to the girls at the toll booth...

I Just Received My EXPEDITE KING Card!

That's the kicker for me, if it was based on 15 gallons, sure, but with the number of T/A's and where they are, getting that close to empty is an awful lot of planning to save 10 bucks. I'm not going thru the fuss and stink of having jerry cans either just to qualify for showers. If I am running...

Canada Wind launches with cheaper phone rates

I got a Blackberry and am fully addicted, having two complicates things a bit. I'm sure it is doable..I just haven't put the effort or time into it yet. I'm still running, not a fancy man like you who can take a whole month off:p!

Canada Wind launches with cheaper phone rates

Watching this very closely, so far, no US plans and only Metro services up here, but the pricing is causing the big boys to tremble...that I like!!

    Fuel Question

The Illinois fuel is number 2 with an 11%bio diesel content. The farther north you go the fuel will still be labelled as Number 2 but will be blended for the temperatures in that area. For example, at a fuel pump in Knoxville TN, you will likely get straight number 2, maybe a 5 percent blend of...

    Business News--Free WiFi

There are some locations in Canada that have wi-fi. Mostly the new ones , so if the building does not have that slant style roof and has a lot of natural looking stone walls, chances are pretty good it does.

    Show and Tell

Looks nice Jeanie, surely you aren't going to go and mess it up by driving in the snow right? I thought what you did on the back door was neat. Is Dingleberry decorated as well?
