    the muti carrier driver push

Your original post said you were being forced to get an MC/USDOT number. Then you said you couldn't name names. Now you are complaining about having to take over weight loads and loads that are too long. When I take all your words in order and try to make sense of them I can't. You seem to be...

    EO logo

How about those really obnoxious team flags that attach to the rain channels just above the driver and passenger doors? They might not be quite as annoying if they were flapping with "EO works for me" rather than "War Eagle" or "Go Bucks".

    the muti carrier driver push

Sorry but your story doesn't add up. Whether or not you have your own authority has nothing to do with whether you choose to accept an over weight load, direct drive long load, or what the carrier should offer you. You and only you determine what goes on your truck and what amount of time is...

I have the same insurance company you do. I just renewed my insurance for two of my vans for the year last week and there was no mention of what you are contending.

A sub-contractor is a contractor. What has somebody else's behavior got to do with it?

    the muti carrier driver push

Neither carrier A nor carrier B is paying anything. The owner operator is paying it all. Agreed. The non payment to the owner operator is a separate issue though. As far as double brokering, that goes to the integrity and ethics of the carrier, not the owner operator.

    the muti carrier driver push

Once again as I have needed to point out before: There are not "multis" as far as carriers go. There are contractors who accept loads from more than one company or source. They are the variable that makes it "multi", not the carrier.

    the muti carrier driver push

The exposure and thus the risk are exactly the same. Each load is hauled one at a time. The only thing that varies is the name of the carrier on the BOL. Double brokering would come to bear on the carrier, not the owner operator. The part time argument is not valid. There is no such thing as a...

    the muti carrier driver push

This is the first I have heard of such a thing. Was it one of your carriers or your insurance company who "informed" you about it?

Yeah, well, I'm not sure that the words "When Jimmy lied people died" is true... It is for the other two.

Shady Jimmy Haslam, Owner of Pilot Flying J, To Recieve Award

I wouldn't say he is not deserving of the award, It just seems a little suspicious that they would bestow it on him at this point in time. I know he has done a lot for the university, in donations at least. I don't think I could paint Jimmy Haslam in the same light as Obama or Kim Jong Il either.

Shady Jimmy Haslam, Owner of Pilot Flying J, To Recieve Award

Jimmy Haslam, owner of Pilot Flying J and the Cleveland Browns has been chosen to receive an alumni award from the University of Tennessee, presumably for his "service" to the university over the years. His brother Bill Haslam, Governor of Tennessee, is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the...
