I checked the Sprinter out very carefully. It will end up being one EXPENSIVE cargo van for the long run compared to the domestic vans. Plus I highly doubt your local mechanic will touch it, so it's off to Mr. Ripoff Freightliner dealer.

I guess only time will tell the tale for the Sprinter's MB 2.7 in heavy duty USA service. But I can guarantee one thing- repair costs will be HUGE by comparison to the International built Powerstroke. -Weave-
