Sooooooo I PASSED the permit portion of the journey!!!! It was a bit harder than I thought but HEY a wins a win! Now on to almost 2 weeks of driving and Pre Trip stuff, the 18th is my ROAD TEST! If I pass it, we should be on the road come August/September!!! Thank you for the well wishes!!!

This may be a question that, well, might be too simple... if a team signs on with a specific carrier (FedEx) can you also find your own loads on your down time or when loads arent keeping us busy enough? Dont know if this is a simple "NO" but Id rather ask than wonder... Thanks for not Laughing...

I was told today when I called that although even the Insurance Companies dont yet know what is 'in' OCare, enrollment begins aprox Oct/Nov and it will 'kick in' Jan 2014. Pre existing will be covered, so until then I need to apply for 'short term' which is 3 months limited coverage. Not looking...
