Most carriers including Panther do a great deal of business in Canada. By saying you're not going, you are limiting your income potential greatly. They may lease you on, but after you turn down multiple shipments to Canada, they may let you go. Good luck with your decision.

The biggest concern will be the frame supporting the weight after the stretch. I highly recommend you have a quality shop like Gtec in Detroit Mi do the work and have a frame liner installed. You will never regret having having a stiff frame. If your truck sags you will wish you never started...

An alignment shop can raise your spring suspension with blocks front rear and re-align for proper specs. Raise the box a small amount would also help, but don't get to carried away. And of course going to tall rubber should get you there. Good luck.

If you have 15K to put into your old FL70, why don't you just take the plunge and trade your old unit and your available cash and move up to a newer more reliable, more marketable, safer, 1 or 2 year old truck. Just seems a shame to pour more money into a FL70 at this stage of it's life cycle.

As a Canadian you cannot drive in the U.S. after loading here. You must return to Canada just as we cannot pick up and deliver in Canada. Your best bet would be to contact carriers that are based out of Canada. If you are caught the fines are stiff and you could loose your equipment. Not really...
