    Neat trucker toy

RE: Boy with most toys wins! The CX Vee twins were awesome bikes for their time- liquid cooled, shaft drive, and over 110 MPH top speed, with decent acceleration. They have come to be one of Honda's longest lasting cycles, many of the 20+ year old machines are still going. I have never heard...

    Expeditors Dream Van

Unicells have had one inherant problem with them- they are very lightweight. So much so that trucks equipped with them that are empty like to "blow away" and have difficulty keeping traction on wet roads and snow. An empty Unicell van is going to handle very much like an empty 2WD pickup truck...

    My New Keyboard

I came up with a better idea when I engineered my system: Why is Rich showing as an unregistered user? What is the little "G" by his name? Has he reached God status on EO:D -Weave-

    Expeditors Dream Van

It is the Aerocell SRW by Unicell. It is a fiberglas van body. They build Unicell bodies in Buffalo, NY and elsewhere. You can already order an Aerocell from your Ford, Chevy or GMC dealer. www.unicell.com Looks good!

    INTERESTING INFORMATION

That is some great info!! Always wondered what that thing was sticking out of golfer's back pockets! Kind of reminds me of the "Big Fat Greek Wedding" movie where the father tells everyone to put some Windex on whatever might be ailing them! -Weave-

    Neat trucker toy

Boy with most toys wins! I always find it interesting to know things that other truck drivers do aside from trucking. As some know I am an avid motorcyclist and enjoy old cars and bikes. I restored this 1981 Honda CX500 this summer. I do many technical postings on www.cx500.gobinet.se/ a...

    10 Speed rangefinder

Yes, the problem was along those lines. There is no separate air filter or lubricator on the Rockwell trans, but a healthy spray of lubricant into the main air system got it working right again. I'll just do that every few months now I guess. Thanks for the help. -Weave-

    Neat trucker toy

This is a really cool R/C forklift I got a couple of years ago. It is the "Mega Lifter" by Hobby Zone, and is available for about $120 from a ton of places on the web. Not so much a toy, it is very realistic- moves in all directions, the forks go up to 18" and have tilt, and the individual...

    10 Speed rangefinder

Just had to nurse my truck back home with a funny problem. Seems if the temperature drops below 60 degrees, the rangefinder on my Rockwell 10 speed stops working. It will stay in whatever range it is in until I stop the truck and let it idle for a few minutes, then will seem to work fine until...

    FL80 pulling to the right

I was going to mention that, and it is very much recommended to have identical steer tires if it all possible. But if not, they should be able to align it regardless. I could see where there would be a problem though if the older tire has more than about 1/8 of an inch less tread than the...

FMSCA Clarifies ambiguous and controversial HOS Ru

RE: FMSCA Clarifies ambiguous and controversial HO Also a good idea to always save your logbooks, or in my case the DDL printouts indefinately. Why? In the event you are ever in a serious accident with personal injury and the injured party hires Joe Schlocko lawyer who tries to claim you...

FMSCA Clarifies ambiguous and controversial HOS Ru

RE: FMSCA Clarifies ambiguous and controversial HO I have been using Roland Bjorklunds DDL program for three years now www.driversdailylog.com and have never had any log violations. The program is simple to use and 100% legal everywhere now. It alerts you if you are going to be in violation...

    FL80 pulling to the right

Rotate the front wheels to get some more life out of the wearing tire, and have the truck aligned again, I don't think it was right to begin with as it shouldn't pull after an alignment. Check or replace the front shocks too. I like places that use a Bee-Line or similar equipment as it gives...

    where to start

Rolls Royce or Bentley might have a vehicle to meet your needs;-) No giving up comfort, right? Look for a good used expedite D unit in your price range- many here on the EO Classifieds! Most go faster than them parking lots! -Weave-

FMSCA Clarifies ambiguous and controversial HOS Ru

RE: FMSCA Clarifies ambiguous and controversial HO Everyone (including myself) was worked up over nothing. The more I thought about it, the more I know that 14 hour consecutive on duty thing would NEVER work. What would be the point in even having a sleeper berth if it wouldn't count for...

    geo's star

Just too hard to get back into one of those cheap rigs, isn't it:7 I would think EGL would let you run that truck longer than 5 years as its a class 8. I see some of thier contractors with tractors have some over 5 years old- would make a good arguement anyway! -Weave-
