    Cheerleader

I have been accused of being a cheerleader for my carrier. I appreciate the recognition because I am proud of that as I have a lot to cheer about! I believe if you are not a cheerleader for your company then you are at the wrong company. Our youngest daughter is a Captain in the Air Force and...

    In Your Face Book

I have just finished reading this book and I am an IDIOT! People are Idiots and I can Prove IT! By Larry Winget He is a self professed aggravation speaker and I believe at this time he is at the top of his game and in high demand all over the world. If you like fluffy touchy feely books...

    Security Tape

We need to know if anyone has an idea on how to remove security tape residue? We just refused a load due to this tape and not wanting to deface the box on the truck. If we can find a safe way to remove this residue we will not have to go through this mess again. Any ideas?

This is an interesting survey and love the idea of Electonic On Board Recorders or hate the idea let your voice be heard: Electronic On-Board Recorders (EOBRs)

    We WILL Survive 2009

We keep hearing the doom and gloom for this year but instead of letting that get to you let’s figure out a way to get through this year! We plan on not going home as often – cutting back on eating out as often – keeping a close eye out on our numbers each month so we know exactly what our bottom...

    Guitar Hero

How many of you have one or just got one for Christmas? The girls got this for Bob to play with our Wii and we are having a blast with it. We are still wimps and just use three keys but someday there will be progress. Great game to play in the truck while you are watching it snow or it is...

    Mouth Wash

I was not paying attention today and bought mouthwash with 22% alcohol in it. I have always been told that you need to buy mouthwash with no alcohol in it to keep from getting a possible positive alcohol breath test. So the mouthwash will stay with our daughter and I will buy more mouthwash...

    Warm Motor Tip

We have a Rig Master and during the winter we plug the block heater into the generator. Everytime the generator starts to warm us up it also warms the motor. As the weather gets colder us and the engine stay toasty warm! We very seldom have any trouble starting our truck due to cold.

    Magnets & Christmas

We have a bunch of those free magnets to hand out to customers that we give away all year. After Thanksgiving though we buy hard candy or this year I could not find the hard candy so turned to candy canes to hand out. I get cellophane and make a small bag add the wrapped hard candy and then...

    Chains & Explosives

We recently learned this tidbit of information so thought we would share: You can run chains when hauling flammables or explosives. We were sure glad to learn this as we prefer to keep going then to pull over.

    Independent Contractor or?

We keep hearing more and more about what makes an employee and this is interesting: What's the difference between an independent contractor and an employee? It's important to classify workers correctly. For payroll tax purposes, workers are generally classified as employees or independent...

    Break Down Help

A friend told us about this site: http://truckdown.com/ The sad part is we got to try it out! We were in Richmond KY and while Bob was greasing the truck he found we had a wheel seal leaking. After we got unloaded we used truckdown to find a really great local shop that was able to replace...

    OPS 1 Oil Savings

Original cost of OPS1 was $600.00 which we bought last year. We figure we have saved about $2200.00 since we have purchased the unit by not having to change our oil as often. We finally changed our Oil due to TBN getting low. We replaced our oil with Mobil Delvac 1 fully synthetic. We had...

    FASS System

Fuel Air Separation System Has anyone installed this on their truck? We have been following Bruce Mallinson and Kevin Rutherfords Friday night get togethers and this system really sounds interesting. This system is supposed to increase horsepower and also fuel efficiency.

    One of worst fears realized

Breaking down beside the road! It finally happened and I am happy to say we lived through it and we are still married! We had been having an intermittent problem with our truck that had been driving Bob nuts plus in and out of shops. Just like any motor when we would go into a shop the...

    Good Escort Loads

After reading Pelicn’s post on escort loads gone badly I thought I might bring up the other side. We have done very short escort loads to over 2000 mile escort loads and overall I would say they have gone pretty well. We have been lucky enough to do escort loads with friends and still be friends...
