Today we fueled at the TA on the west side of Saint Louis and paid $1.90 a gallon. I never thought we would see the day we would pay less then $2.00 a gallon.

We paid less than $2.00/gal yesterday. Had someone told me a few months ago the price would be this low, I would not have believed it. But here it is.

A phrase increasingly heard on the news is "... the (biggest, slowest, longest, lowest, highest, deepest, etc.) ... since the Great Depression." In these unpredictable economic times where one historic record after another is being broken, I wonder what is next? Wonder is about all one can do. This is no ordinary recession. The oil price decline surprised us. More surprises are probably in store.

Only time this month that I paid over 2 bucks a gallon,was at the TA, Effingham IL.2.15/gallon.I did have to buy at a fuel stop other than a TA on one load,as there wasnt a TA on my way to pick up or deliver,that really sucked.Paid 1.89 TA Ashland VA
