Do they make a strap wrench for that. Or you can try those universal rubber ones that adjust to different sizes. I use them to get off my oil and fuel filter.

I have an 07’. A little different set up but I have oil residue where all the rubber connection are and that’s normal. Maybe there’s a gasket inside where the residue is that is broken?

Twasluck, if your in NC it’s worth the trip to see Greasy. I got an 07 pre emissions but I always go to Greasy. I travel over 500 miles to see him, he knows these vehicle inside and out. He has done my head gasket, turbo, valve adjustment, and some other stuff. Never have a problem afterwards...

Sometimes the wiring harness plays games. Was it wet outside? Possibly something is rubbing on a wire /harness. Change the filters too with the tranny fuild.

If you get a well maintained truck don’t worry about the miles. Ask for maintenance records and oil analysis report, majority of the O/O keep good records. I got into this business for 25K. 17K on a truck 3K up front repairs and 5K reserve. That was 4 years ago with this truck going on 923K...

If you don’t have driving experience you are going to need to team with someone for 6 months at least. DONT BUY ANYTHING. Drive for someone first. If you waited this long to get into the business another 6 months ain’t going to kill you.

Yes it is, also expensive. I got my girl the XS Max and she says it’s really an upgrade and she is a Apple person. I’m going to get the XR the one that comes in colors. I still have the 6 plus. I usually upgrade every 2-3 years.
