I use the Garmin 2620. It works great. Has turn by turn directions and will keep track of your moving and non moving time,mileage,max speed. It is accurate 99% of the time. I find it very helpfull in finding truck stops , and other points of intrest. I purchase them at Best Buy.

I did not say it was a good or a bad decision. I said it was his decision to make. I believe all business decision are made with the personal feelings as a contributing factor. When you buy a piece of equipment don't your personal feelings play into your purchase.

I Didn't think Whitewolf53 comment about not going to Canada was a bad attitude. I think he is making a business decision which he can as an I/C. The carrier can either say okay or they can't use him.

I get my E-track from truck parts suppliers. Look in your local yellow pages.

You will need a Class C w/Hazmat endorsement for most of the major Co.'s. Smaller Companies will accept a "D" for van drivers.

The Espar is a great unit I have it in a E350 Gas Van with a sleeper the cab area is is insulated and the heater keeps me nice and warm. Ray and his crew do an excellent job in installing these units. 8 yrs. O/O 3 yrs. small fleet owner.

The Espar heater works great in a van. Plenty of heat and is on a thermostat.

I Have used GoodYear Wrangler Load Range E. I have great success with them.
