I guess the whole question comes down to is: Who started to offer shower credits and discounts etc to help attract drivers to "their" truckstop to spend "their" dollars in the first place? When there are a couple of truckstops "close" to each other, why do you go to this one and not that one...

I agree with that BUT don't even think about bringing any HANDGUNS to CANADA!!!! Unless it is as documented freight... As a rule very few people have handguns and fewer still are allowed to carry them around, "some do have the proper permits" but you need to be a very special person to get...

I'm not a driver as yet, but my experience comes from the warehouse side. I have lots of experience as a warehouse Manager/Supervisor... I would hope the driver did everything he/she could have to protect the shipment, removed debris, covered the freight, temporay fix to the damaged area so...

Here is hoping you are no where near the actual City of Toronto downtown core tonight or Sunday. Protests have become Riots and a number of ploice cars (I think around 6 so far) have been brunt, running battlers in the downtown core...property damged (windows, ect)...IMO a good place to not be...

Jusdt found out the Trans Canada Highway is closed on the Alta/Sask border due to flooding this weekend. It is only for about 5km (3 miles)...but the detours are on substandard sideroads and questionable at best... Beware if you are heading in or around Western Canada!!!
